If your vehicle is three years old or over, it will require a valid MOT certificate. You must renew your MOT every twelve months. The expiry date of your MOT is on your existing certificate. Your vehicle can be MOT tested up to 28 days in advance; however, the expiry date on your new test certificate will be twelve months from the date on your old MOT certificate.
